Living long and well isn’t about extreme measures; it’s about embracing simple, everyday habits:
Plant-Powered Plate: Load up your plate with a plant-based diet. Colourful, seasonal veggies and organic vegetables will give your body all the antioxidants it needs to fight inflammation and disease. This is not to say that you should give up on weekly delicious feasts as such meat or salmon. Also, add lentils to your daily meal.
Find your “why”: Your “Why” should be clear, which means purpose. Once it clears in your mind, keep your healthier, whether it’s work, volunteering, or anything,
Social Bonds matter: Being socialised matters. The more you connect with optimistic people, the more you will know the things around you. Strong ties with family, friends, and community keep you mentally and physically healthier.
Soak up the sun: Everybody knows how we need it. Vitamin D from sunlight boosts your body’s repair mechanisms. Protect your skin, but don’t shy away from some sun exposure for mental peace.
Mindful eating: Stop before you are stuffed and give your body time to signal fullness. Regular fasting and moderate wine sipping with friends are good.
Move your body: Don’t overstress after hearing this. All you need to do is just daily movements like walking, gardening, and chores to keep you fit and ward off disease caused by sitting too much.
